Live verification seals: JS setup and validity tracking
Published Oct 24, 2026 · By ProviderCheck Editorial
Learn how ProviderCheck’s installation code, allowed domains, service period and current review status work together.
A verification seal should connect visitors to a current review, rather than act only as a decorative image. A screenshot alone cannot establish that a report remains valid.
What a live seal shows
ProviderCheck’s seal reflects the relevant provider’s current status. Visitors can inspect scope and dates in the linked profile. Company identity, license evidence and regulatory records are separate findings.
Installation code after payment
Once payment is confirmed and the provider belongs to the customer account, the dashboard prepares provider-specific JS code. Receiving the code does not automatically verify the company. The review outcome updates through the same installation.
Where to install the code
Copy the code from the dashboard and place it before the closing body tag in the shared website template. The exact editing location depends on the theme or content management system. Install it once in a common template and use the dashboard’s installation check.
Review domain and appearance settings
Check the allowed domains before installation. Copying another provider’s code does not verify your website. Choose position, theme and language, and use the updated code after changing settings. Keep installations for different companies separate.
Distinguish service and review validity
The dashboard displays service start, end and remaining time. Verification validity concerns the review’s own dates. Renewing service does not turn an unfavorable finding into a favorable one. Monitor both payment and review status.
Validate a seal as a visitor
Follow the badge to providerchecknow.com and match the target domain in the report. The hosting review checklist provides broader purchasing guidance. Company representatives can find their existing profile and start the claim process.
Check your company or service provider
Review a provider profile or start a verification application for your company. Payment does not purchase verified status.
