How to check a Turkish ISP’s BTK authorization record
Published Oct 24, 2026 · By ProviderCheck Editorial
A practical guide to matching a Turkish ISP’s company identity, authorization type and record status against BTK’s official information.
When an ISP says it is “BTK approved,” ask which record and service scope the phrase refers to. An authority logo or a document image alone does not explain current authorization.
Start with the official record
Use BTK’s Authorization Management System. Records can have different statuses, including active, cancelled or transferred. A technical failure to return results is not sufficient evidence for a negative conclusion about an operator.
Match the brand to the legal operator
The customer-facing brand may differ from the registered business name. Check the relationship in the service agreement and company information. Do not confuse similarly named operators. Ask for the registered name and document reference where needed.
Check the authorization type
A company name appearing in a list is only part of the review. Compare the authorization type, dates and status with the claimed service. Hosting, server rental and internet access are different categories; do not automatically apply the same finding to all of them.
Read transfers and dates
The document issue date and current record status are different facts. Include cancellation, transfer or merger notes where relevant. Record when the check was performed rather than treating an old image as a current result.
Keep the conclusion within scope
A report should identify the operator, service scope, source and review date. A matching record does not guarantee future connection quality or uninterrupted service.
Submit a ProviderCheck dossier
Submit company identity, record reference and relevant evidence through your provider dashboard. An authorized reviewer performs the source match; applicants cannot approve their own results. Use the provider checker to read the report and the general checklist for wider purchasing considerations.
Check your company or service provider
Review a provider profile or start a verification application for your company. Payment does not purchase verified status.
